Do you park your Tundra in the garage?

Picked up my new truck Sat morning then spent all weekend cleaning out the garage to make room.

In the end, it barely fit length wise and had to carve out some of the "workshop" area to fit the wives Honda. Only had about 1.5" to spare height wise as well.

It got me wondering how many of you park your trucks indoors.

I am fortunate that my garage is a couple feet longer than a standard garage, did not plan it that way or anything but the model I purchased was just designed that way. I actually have a few feet in front of the truck still which is good because I keep the beer in a fridge in the garage and need to walk in front of the truck to get a beer about 30 times a day :D

I hate leaving my vehicles outside. My truck and wifey's car are in the garage. I have to still get to Cali to pick up the Jeep and bring to Vegas to fill up the third spot. The jetski's are in the RV parking on the side of the house. Next house I want the higher garage opening and a fourth spot. I will NEVER go back to a two car garage.

I have a 2 1/2 car garage which works out great since there is quite a bit of space available for storage on the driver side of my truck. We have three big ole storage racks there plus my tool box, generator and a bunch of other crap but still plenty of space to walk around and get in the truck and what not. Height wise it seems decent as well, my truck is lifted 3" and I still have probably 2-3" of clearance getting in the garage which is nice should I decide to go with a larger tire. With how much these trucks cost I will not be parking it outside in the 110 degree heat all the time, the garage is a must.

My CM sleeps soundly in my garage next to my Fireblade.

Mine fits. Barely. Front kisses the wall (literally) and I have about 3 inches between the rear bumper and the door. I had to reorganize quite a bit, and I'm still in the process of getting things where I want them in the garage. Not as big of a deal leaving it outside during summer, but during winter, I'm glad it fits!

Not enough options in your poll. I normally park it outside, unless we have a hail storm. I moved all my hay bailing equipment under the 3 car car port, so now if its hailing I'll park it in my workshop. At 3,000 sq ft it fits just fine LOL

Mine won't fit lengthwise because of the workbenches on the front wall of my garage. Height is ok. Wife's SUV would fit, but my motorcycle lives in the garage. Tricycles take up an awful lot of space as well.

My garage is for bike parking and workshop use instead of vehicle parking. I really want a 3 or 4 car garage, just can't afford the house that comes with something like that around here.

My DC get housed in detached, heated garage. Sometimes I'm jeolous of it! I leave the stereo on to keep it from getting lonely. It can be out there for a week at a time.

The garage we have now wouldn't even fit my 04 Dakota and would barely fit her Camry. We don't put a vehicle in it. Too much stuff in there.

We are moving in a month. Now we will have a shed, a decent sized basement, and 10 other rooms so there shouldn't be a mountain of crap taking up space in the garage anymore. The garage at the new house is a single detached one as we couldn't agree on any homes with 2 car garages and we both loved this house. There is a carport built off the garage and then a fence immediately next to that so that setup provides decent protection. Since the wife's 12 Camry is only 6 months old she will have the garage and I will have the car port. Less complaining from her when it is snowy out. I haven't measured but I'm guessing the truck would be too long. Either way the truck will still be decently shielded from the elements in the car port, just not as secured.

I would love to build a 2 car down the road but it won't happen any time soon. This garage has been so well maintained with a new roof and fresh siding along with the house that it would make zero sense to knock it down, and there isn't room for a 2nd 1 car garage. It might be something I explore in 8-10 years when it needs work.

I fell in love with the garage at this one home we looked at. We could have fit both vehicles either lenthways or sideways and still had room for a home gym and a man cave. Unfortunately in the rest of the house the owner started about 30 different projects all at once and then ran out of cash before he could finish, and it was just more than we were willing to deal with. But I LOVED that garage.

Mine fits barely length wise as well. I back the truck in so i can watch the camera. The tow hitch punched a nice 4x4 hole in the wall so a screwed on a full sheet of 1/2" durarock. Now i back the truck up until it stops.:D

I wasn't going to buy the tundra if it wouldn't fit in the garage because of the hailstorms we can during the summer. We have a narrow, but longer two car garage that fits the tundra, my wife's rav4, along with my dirtbike, 41" tool chest, and 5ft workbench lined up against the front wall. It's tight but at least we can both get out of our driver's doors. (my sig pic was taken at my parents, wish I had a garage the size of theirs...someday)

Mine barely fit but hasn't seen the inside of the garage since we bought the house a year ago. Takes up too much room when it's in there where we can't even use the side door to the garage.

Nope mine will not fit... I wish I was able to park it in the garage but the 1969 Fastback and BMW are in there.
