BAmuffler budget system installed with video!!!

So i finally ordered up my dirty deeds budget system exhaust for my tundra 5.7 cm. The fit and finish of the product are super quality as was the customer service from the dirty deeds shop and employees. Shortly After speaking with keith regarding what I wanted for my truck, i received my exhaust in the mail. The day i put it on was raining and shitty but I was too excited to wait. It took about 20 minutes to install it and was a breeze following their installation video. I left the resonator off which i do not regret, the sound is pretty sick!!! Anyone looking to pick up a system from BA, do not hesitate, it will be worth it!!

Did you just lay under your truck and go on from there? I got my exhaust today and am installing tomorrow. I'm on the fence of buying ramps to make it a little easier to get under the truck.

So a really stupid Q here: what does the resonator do and why would I want it (currently saving for a muffler from DDeeds - eyeing the TRD replacement System)? Thanks and I apologize for my ignorance on this matter.

Never an ignorant question!! Ditchhooker said it best, the resonator is supposed to cut down on drone around a certain rpm. I ditched it because i like the sound without the resonator but everyones different. You wont regret which ever system you decide to go with.

around 1600-1800 RPMs you can get some pretty bad drone in the cab, the resonator eliminates it. Empty, the drone is pretty minimal, towing its gets pretty bad. side effect is the resonator refines the sound a little bit as well. it may sound quieter in the cab, but outside it doesn't really change a whole lot on the outside.

Do not quote me, but i believe Keith posted dyno claims on his website with something in the neighborhood of 5-10 hp and 5-10 ft lbs added. If you call him up he will tell you anything you need to know. All of his products are dyno proven which is one of the reasons I went with BAmufflers.

New BADual Setup

Just picked up setup for my duals from Keith this past week while in CA. Got the x pipe and dual 10 in muffler put on Saturday. Sounds excellent but not as loud as expected but imagine after breaking in little more it will sound off better. No drone to speak of but I replaced a Edelbrock SDT. Probably could have gone with an 8in setup but I am good. Keith was great to work with and builds a quality product. Nott the best video but heck I tried.

Issue

Keith/anyone,
so in my previous post I indicated that I just put new BA dual setup with xpipe on and sounds great. Well prior to that I removed my AFE CAI and remapped my Hypertech to stock intake. Have never had any issues with anything until late yesterday afternoon. I get in and start it up and have the check engine with the VSC flashing-of course running like crap! Now I will say that this past Sat/Sun after I put the new exhaust in I was running around town loving the new tone all the while keep the nannies turned off (rarely do that but...). Baffled I disconnected the battery for about 10 minutes. Started it up and code gone with truck running fine but it blew some water out of both tail pipes-never seen that before. Looking for potential ideas of why that may have occured? New mapping? Nannies off? New exhaust setup??? I haven't put but a few miles on it so I don't know what it will do if i take a trip in it. Anybody has any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks guys. It was quite a bit that came out and I have never seen that from this truck. Not worried about the condensation but more worried that it threw a trouble code which I am hoping due to changing back to OEM intake, remapping the Hypertech, exhaust and turning the traction control off playing around. I'll blame it on Keith since he sold me the latest toy! Hopefully this was a one time deal.
