So the mods on here have chips on there shoulders?

No, they don't. As a matter of fact, our Mods have a decent sense of humor and will let most crap go unlike many forums I've seen. But, if somebody is just going to be an ass for the sake of being an ass because they got butt-hurt, then I agree it's time to give them the boot.

I think we should all protest and do a #notmymoderator luncheon. Who else is in?

You would probably have better luck getting attention from everyone starting their own MPG thread. Kinda like their own build thread, but for MPGs. How cool would that be? Pffft

Worst case scenario is a moderator will have to spend time deleting them all.

No, I'm pretty sure that being an asshole and calling out Mods as being "dickheads" is what brought the ban hammer down, not the thread itself.
I have seen a lot worse on here than calling someone a dickhead so even that doesn't make any sense, but my point was really about the original thread. Seemed to me he was happy and reporting good news, not complaining, still don't get why that thread was closed but this one hasn't been. There may have been additional private messages that resulted in him being banned that we will never know about.

Why don't they just make a forum section for MPG discussions? There are obviously enough people out there interested in sharing their own mpg stories/theories/experiences/opinions. So just give them their own section that moderators and trolls can completely stay away from if they hate mpg threads so much. Is that a valid idea? I sure looked for an MPG section in the forum before I posted this topic, but there wasn't any.

I like this idea, but then the Pro owners will be mad when their MPG posts get moved from the PRO forum to that forum ;).

There is a lot of butt hurt for the guy who decided he would call me out for something I didn't do & then refer to the mods as dickheads. If you guys think mods here are unfair try another forum & see what their mods are like. We generally let you guys have a lot of fun & push the envelope but if you start a thread to specifically call out a mod & then call moderators things like dickheads then you will be removed every time
