I ran an Odyssey for 6 years. It didn't die, I just traded in the 4Runner it was in and decided to get a fresh battery for the new truck. I went with NorthStar this time. I think its every bit as good as the Odyssey, possibly better. The big thing is it comes in the correct size so there isn't any spacers on my tie battery tie downs (although they never failed me).

Mine is soon to go too. I'll look at the interstate 27F

I replaced the OEM battery in my 2014. I just didn't trust it. I left all accessories on heated seats and the key all the way forward for maybe 5-10 minutes and it left me stranded. Im sure it was the heated seats and the power hungry fully loaded model 1794. I went with the interstate 27F standard size.
Any issues fitting that 27F battery?
Any modifications needed?

no mods, I thought the OEM is a group 27 as well. I forget
I was looking at batteries online and everything said my 2014 Tundra took a 24F.
I finally popped the hood and voila, my stock battery is a 27F.

DOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ended up with an Interstate Mega-Tron 27F from Firestone.
It was like $130 installed, in case anyone cares.

I haven’t bought a car battery in years. If you buy 300k in deep cycle golf cart batteries a year, your rep will slip a car battery in for free every year or so

Nice! I had an optima in my old dakota. It was beat to hell and back and drained a few times from heavy light use. Still carried a charge 14 years later when I sold it.

Bumping this thread to say that the original Truestart battery is still going strong in my 2014 (bought in fall of 2013.)
