So do you drive around with your foot on the brake pedal, excessive brake use, hard stops constantly, towing and hauling heavy loads while doing the above all the time? If so there's your problem. Brakes get hot very quickly when used like the above. This will cause the brakes to warp very quickly also this will happen if you hit the brakes hard and for a period of time then drive into deep water that is deep enough to come in contact with the brake rotors. Also, is your truck lifted with oversize tires? If so that would be part of the problem as any modifications to a vehicle such as larger tires, will make the brakes work harder to slow the vehicle as the larger tires and weight creates more drag on the brakes and heats them up quicker
I've got 20k on my truck and haven't had a single issue with it.
Not saying I don't like lift kits and oversize tires, but a lot of the issues on here that are written about constantly are on trucks with lift kits, oversize tires, larger wheels, etc. Anything done to a vehicle like that will cause undue stress on the whole vehicle and lead to problems, they might not happen right away but over time the vehicle will develop issues and of course the owner won't actually blame the modifications he/she will blame the vehicle.
