2008 Tundra Crewmax - brake issue

I have a 2008 crewmax with 50,000km. Front rotors were replaced at 40,000km due to warping. I had a quick stop with 850 lbs in back (not much) and no trailer. I was surprised when the front end started vibrating. TOyota replaced the rotors and now the same problem again. I could understand this if I was bagging on the thing with a trailer, but these are supposed to be monster brakes. Anyone have this issue or is it something else going wrong and showing up in the brakes?

So do you drive around with your foot on the brake pedal, excessive brake use, hard stops constantly, towing and hauling heavy loads while doing the above all the time? If so there's your problem. Brakes get hot very quickly when used like the above. This will cause the brakes to warp very quickly also this will happen if you hit the brakes hard and for a period of time then drive into deep water that is deep enough to come in contact with the brake rotors. Also, is your truck lifted with oversize tires? If so that would be part of the problem as any modifications to a vehicle such as larger tires, will make the brakes work harder to slow the vehicle as the larger tires and weight creates more drag on the brakes and heats them up quicker

I've got 20k on my truck and haven't had a single issue with it.

Not saying I don't like lift kits and oversize tires, but a lot of the issues on here that are written about constantly are on trucks with lift kits, oversize tires, larger wheels, etc. Anything done to a vehicle like that will cause undue stress on the whole vehicle and lead to problems, they might not happen right away but over time the vehicle will develop issues and of course the owner won't actually blame the modifications he/she will blame the vehicle.

I can tell you this from experience. My 1993 honda del sol had problems with rotors been warped all the time.Since i started doing the brakes myself i have not bought new rotors.Come to find out, it was the people at the dealer and other places that was warping my rotor because they would rotate my tires and use their impact gun to tighten the lug nuts.By using the impact gun they would warp the rotors.I had a 2004 tundra that was my work vehicle and a 200k miles still had the original rotors.I heard other people with rotor issue all the time but not mine.I have a 2008 tundra and i will be doing my own tire rotation

My brakes warped almost immediately. I haul about 500ls in the bed and go down some long steep hills on the ranch. Even with the engine turning 3500rpm to help with the braking they warped....only shimmy's when they get hot though...VERY BUMMED. My 98 Chevy which is known for crap brakes never did this and went up and down the same hill a zillion times.
