Where did you mount your brake controller?

This is for my 2008 Tundra C/M with 2 bucket seats up front w/center console.
I would appreciate some input, pics if possible.
I'm picking up my new travel trailer Friday, and will be installing the brake control unit prior to hitting the road.
I'm wondering where to mount this thing....not to sure I want it in the footwell area as I'll probably bump into it too much. I can't put it under the A/C / Fan controls as I have stuff mounted there already.

How about in the the center console? I have a brake controller that does not require level mounting.

Any help appreciated!
Thanks,
Dan

Mine's not a CM - It's a DC with a bench. In any event, here's a link to my brake controller post:

Mine is located just below and to the right of the steering column. It's a nice unused space, easy to drill a hole to run the wires through and route them to the oem harness.

Where Tox has his mounted. Is about the only place I have. If it wasn't so bulky. I'd say above the rearview mirror.

I have a '08 DC give me an hour and I will post pics. Mine is right under the steering column. Like Directly across from where your knees are when sitting in the front seat. Im 6'0 220 lb. and never ran into it. At first I thought it would be an issue or I'd bump into it. But never once its like its non existent.

Here's where I mounted my prodigy.

Here's another showing where it is in relation to my knee while driving. I'm 6' tall and 260# so I'm no little fella.

Mines an 06 DC however basically the same steering wheel surround.

Mine is located just below the steering wheel to the right straight down from the ignition. There is a little spot that you can drill a hole through to run the wires. Very short run to the harness.

mine is a 08 crew max I mounted mine down by the parking brake have never hit it with my foot. I tried mounting where luke 08 4x4 shows his mounted but my knees kept hitting it . I will snap a pic of it this afternoon and post it. I like mine being out of sight and can still reach it easily to adjust the output.

Mine too and never had a problem. I thought it would be in the way but I have never hit it or even brushed against it.
