What does it mean if a leveling spacer is not 1:1 ratio?

I just bought a leveling spacer and it advertises as not a 1:1 ratio saying the thickness of the spacer itself does not reflect the size of the lift it gives? Can someone explain if this is correct and why this is if its correct?

Pretty much just saying that the if you ordered a 3" leveling kit, the block that gets you to 3" of lift will be smaller then the 3". The lift gets exaggerated in the geometry of the suspension.

I noticed that when I ordered my level kit. The block was more like 2" but it gave me 3" of lift.

@stonemxfan369 - Yup, you are correct.

I say do before and after measurements before any kind of modding. You'll get the 3" of lift.
