Can anybody help with the following? I changed wheels/tires and have the tire pressure sensors in the new wheels/tires and the tire pressure monitoring system has been initialized. The valve stem cap tire pressure readings are not accurate? Does anybody have any experience with this?

I read somwhere ...dont change the caps. Some after market caps mess up the reading.

Did you change the caps?

No-they are the original caps. They might be mixed up amongst the wheels that they originally came on. I don't know if that would matter but they are not reading the air pressure correctly. When the wheels were changed(back to the factory trd wheels that come on the vehicle), I went behind the mechanics and noticed that the tires had 44psi in them but the valve stem caps were reading 32.
