Hey everyone,

I have an 07 Tundra with the stock 20 inch rims.
Does anyone know what are the widest tires these rims will accomodate ?
The standard Duellers are 275 / 55 / 20.
Also if anyone can give me a good recommendation for tires that will see lots of Highway use and a fair bit of snow and rain in the winter.
Thanks for your tips.

Yeah most guys have to remove the front mud flaps. But usually that's on aftermarket wheels (I didn't have to & I run the tires I posted above with a 4" lift). But on OEM wheels either you'll rub the skid plate or the front bar at full lock. I'll see if I can dig up a picture that shows it.
Not 100% sure without a leveling kit, how much tire you can stuff in the wheel well. Maybe someone else can chime in on that.
But if you're going to see some rain, ice & snow. Mud terrains wouldn't be my 1st choice. All terrains will get you through it all a lot easier.

Subscribing. I'd really like to know this too. I'm not lifted or leveled but would like higher profile tires. Performance tires just don't look right on a truck. I need a more aggressive tread pattern than the stockers too. I've heard good things about Goodyear Duratracs and Cooper Zeons.

For the stock 20's I went with a 275/60/20 Cooper Zeon LTZ, I really like the tires and were about 200 bucks each at Discount tire. They are as big as you can go for the stock height without rubbing or trimming. It is good all around AT tire and ride nice on the highway. I hope this helps because I did a ton of research when my stock duelers wore out.

How are those LTZ's holding up for you? How is the cornering, ride, noise, etc.?

I've got that size tire in the Michelin ltx2 on my truck, lowered 2/4, and realistically need 3 new tires right now, and really don't want to shell out that kind of money for the Michelins. Trying to find a little cheaper alternative; and I know nothing else will last as long. The ltx's seem to make quite a bit of noise in hard corners leading me to believe, even at max pressure, that they are going to wear the edges badly. Great in a straight line though!

That does help and I appreciate your response very much.

I would like to know as we'll..I have the aftermarket Michelin 275/55-20 tired and they wore awesome but I am wanting to lower my truck 2/4 and looking for a good AT tire for it. Any suggestions?
