One of the main uses of my bed is to transport my Hobie Outback kayak. It is 12ft long and weighs about 90lbs when I am putting it in and out of the bed (a lot more when all my gear is on it).
To load it, I put the bow on the tail gate, then lift from the stern and slide it in. To unload it, I do the opposite. I lift from the stern and drag it out
Are spray-in liners so grippy that trying to do this will be a pain in the butt? Will that repetitive dragging in and out a couple times a week ruin the spray-in liner?
I've never had a spray-in liner. I had the drop-in in my 04 Tundra for 10 years with zero issues. I live in the Northeast. Drop-in was very slippery in the winter, but other than that I liked being able to slide stuff around in the bed. If I don't want it to move, I strap it down.
