EXCLUSIVE JBA long tube headers with true duals X pipe either 2.5" or 3" pipes

As the only manufacturer to offer the following products for JBA long tubes on a 5.7L Tundra:

catted mid pipes
mid pipes with mufflers
3" mid pipes
catback systems specific to the JBA long tube headers

I thought it would be fun to start a pictures thread documenting these systems as they're built.

Announcing the very first 3" true duals with X pipe system ever built for a 5.7L Tundra. I'll let it's future owner chime in if he wants to claim it:lol5: on this thread. You know who you are:D

I have the TRD cat-back system on my '12 Crewmax. I'm thinking about doing JBA long tube headers and 2.5" mid-pipes with mufflers (no cats) or your x-pipes if that would work with the TRD.

Would these bolt on to my TRD cat-back? Which mid-pipe would be best?

Can you give me a price to 35080. Do I need to order anything else? I don't want it any louder than it is now... Do I need a mid with muffler? O2 Sims or oem work?

Headers $569. To keep it from being much louder than it is with say an average catback you'll definitely want to run mufflers in the mid pipes. I can build 2.5" mid pipes that have a 16" muffler in them;) they're $579.

If you place the order for the headers and mid pipes at the same time the group buy is $150 off and free shipping.

Here's how it breaks down.

Headers. $569
Mids. $579
Group buy-$150
Total. $998 shipped to your door.

I'll have to stop by the shop next week and get some pics. Figured while it's up getting the suspension rebuilt, a
I'd add Ucas, new leafs and headers....

Will the mid with a muffler eliminate the drone too? How about the o2 sensors? Do I need to order Sims or will the oems work?

How much would that run me? Would it just cancel out at highway speeds or low end as well?

Alright, all tapdrama aside. Just got home with the 5.7 after extensive off road testing. Gonna download some YouTube in the next hour or so.

Just a teaser, this truck didn't used to be able to spin the tires on dry pavement;) ZERO low end loss!!! Gains throughout the power band!! I am extremely happy with these headers.

I want to thank Ryan (texasranger96) for pestering JBA consistently to build these, I want to Thank Dustin at JBA for putting the product in motion, and I want to Thank Don Linfors for developing an outstanding product.

The fit, finish, and power gains are out of this world!! I can't wait to see these headers on a supercharged truck with 3" true duals!! Ahem....BRX:)

I have tons of pics and a few pretty good video. I gotta tell ya tho, video does no justice to the sound from these JBA headers and BAmufflers exhaust system.

I'll try and get a baseline dyno in a local shop before and after the install to see the gains on a supercharged 5.7.

When should I expect the headers, mid pipes and cat back to arrive at my door step?!

DAMMIT!!!! I really cant wait to come pick my custom set up! Love those pics you sent. Maybe during your grand opening party, we could turn it into an install party! Hahah. Just kiddin man. All jokes aside, I am very happy for you and what you have built. I was watching videos of your first home made stuff. Now you have a bad ass company building stuff for something you love. (As well as ALOT of other people) I am happy to be able to purchase the highest quality exhaust system on the market for our trucks made by you! I hope to see you and your company grow to an empire! Much love to you bro. See you Saturday.

Open pipes:

With BAmufflers true duals cat back= 2.5" mid pipes with 16" mufflers, true duals with X pipe also 2.5" tubing and 20" mufflers, custom 2.5" mandrel bent tailpipes that exit straight out the back side by side. From in the cab, holy $hit this thing accelerates like a raped ape now!!

Like I said, it didn't used to be able to spin the tires like it does now. There is absolutely ZERO low end torque loss, only gains.

Now I absolutely have to put a supercharger on my truck.

I have a feeling your truck will no longer be naturally aspirated by the end of July...

That sounds awesome

Thx for the reminder, sound. I've tuned and fitted literally hundreds of exhaust systems and mufflers for the 5.7L, to this date none has sounded this awesome. Like I said, the video does no justice. This JBA/BAmufflers test truck is not only the very first 5.7L tundra to run these headers, it is also the only Tundra on earth that sounds this damn good!! It's a cross between a NASCAR and a muscle car. Only loud when you really get on it, quiet on the freeway above 65, and mean as King Kong when you full throttle punch it!! I wish I could do drive by's at the BAmufflers grand opening this weekend!! You gotta hear this thing in person, absolutely beautiful.

These new JBA headers bring this truck to a whole new level.

That system sounds great! Man im second guessing myself and my decision to not get the headers too. Ill be happy no doubt, I just want it all! Haha.

I would love to see the dyno as well before I ordered....

Thanks to JBA and BAmufflers I can say that this truly is the ultimate exhaust system for the 5.7 Tundra.

BRX has said he'll throw down some dyno numbers with this system, I can't wait to see the power increase.

I'll have dyno numbers real soon too:lol5:

And I have a buddy in the NorthEast whom is seriously considering throwing down some dyno numbers as well.

What is this "emissions" you speak of? :lol5:

You don't need to pass any emission test to register a car in Corvallis, OR. Luckily, I moved to Florida one month after renewing my plate, which is now dated to expire by 2015.

I've asked a few friends around here in FL and they also say they don't have to pass an emission test to renew their plates. Go figure lol.
