Looking into a DSP. I've narrowed it down to primarily zapco or rf 360.3
Possibly the mosconi 6to8v8 or jbl ms8.
My question isnt about which one is best or easiest to tune or whatever but I'm only concerned with keeping my factory steering wheel controls and my factory BT for audio/phone calls.

I've looked hi and low on this forum and google and cant find my answer. I'm either not typing the right string of search words or no one has asked. what i have found isnt specific to tundras, especially the 2015's. I have the 7" entune radio, no nav no bose.

I know some of these come with BT dongles or have BT capability but I just dont know what it's referring to specifically. For example, one i read (i think maybe the mosconi or it may have been bit one) says BT is for hooking up wirelessly for tuning. it doesnt mention anything about streaming music or phone calls.

i would think that it wouldnt matter what the DSP has, if it is or isnt BT, since my radio is and I would think that is where the signal would still come from. But before I drop 6-800 bucks I'd like to be sure.

last sidenote, are any/all of these manufacturers coming out with new product in the next few months? I think i've read jbl is and i know most of these have been out a few years so seems an update should be due

I have a 14 with entune no JBL and ms-8 doesn't interfere with blue tooth or my steering wheel controls. I have the ms8 powering a different center channel, if you leave anything for the head unit to power will have a delay so all speakers must go through Ms-8. According to others my my voice sounds the same on calls and still works so no problems.

read the RF manual, states the BT is for streaming music. Though I'm still nto sure if that's even needed for my situation but good to know I'm covered either way
Tried looking at the Mosconi manual and it was a disaster and didnt yield any info. I did see that there is a module for sale and it specifically states the module is only for wireless tuning purposes. Again, not sure if that affects me since i have factory BT

Need to look at the Helix (non pro) and Zapco manuals still

I'm kinda leaning towards JBL as it at least has auto tune. I'm not 100% certain i wanna go down that rabbit hole of all the manual tuning. That's a whole other topic though

Curious what the issues are that everyone says they have with the ms8?

hmm. not sure. seems every dsp has claims of issues.

i finally ended up with a RF 360.3. Got it last Thursday. Hoping to get it installed relatively soon, but when you factor in my procrastination and couple it with a fairly busy schedule coming up, hopefully it's done be end of summer!
