Deeds, i'm really looking forward to seeing what you come up with for these trucks now. Especially knowing that you are in touch with the BD engineers and running ideas by them to try to get even more gains out of our trucks. Thanks for all you're doing for the tundra community. :thumbsup:

Thanks!! DirtyDeeds an BAmufflers only exist because there was no good aftermarket go fast parts for a Tundra. I was used to having a 5.0 Mustang where they make a bolt in jet engine;) and whatever else you'd want. Since there wasn't anything for a Tundra, I made everything myself, and for y'all!!

Can you comment on the shifting characteristics? Does it just hold the revs longer? Are the shifts crisper and more confident?

The best way to put it: more decisive, doesn't hunt for gears as much, just seems to find closer to the right time to shift.

I really hope the premium tune won't go over lean with just a K&N drop in and a really free flowing exhaust...

I was told that our trucks ran really fat, and I believe it.

What a/f's were you seeing ?
Stock is in the 11-11.5 range. Lots of room for improvement. With headers an full exhaust I'm seeing right at 12-12.2 full throttle. With tow and performance it was MUCH higher:(

I know bullydog will fix it tho. Even if I have to book a room in Idaho;)

That would be great Keith if you can get them to do something that works for us with race exhaust.

Do you think the improvement shifting and spoolins valve body are going to work together good or did I waste my money in spoolins kit?

HOW much higher??

You can pm if you would like because I'm curious.

I know my quad in the 14 range is still safe, makes more power in that range too...

I have seen efi quads run in the 15:1 and higher and not pop or burn pistons.

Anything less than 13-14 and I don't really see any concern, especially if not for any extended periods of time.

I don't build vehicles nor vehicle engines though...

Believe me, Once you go "Valve Body Shift Kit".. you Never go BACK!!

The VBSKit is mechanical and the TCU does try to smooth it out, but not on WOT. The BD tune may make it Fast, but the VBSK makes it FURI:DUS! That was my best "Secret Weapon" on how I was able to beat 2 S/C CM at the Tracks.. Now we are installing 2 of them next week for our local races on the 20th, yeah and they (redbullistic-TIM and lineman627-Reggie) are also installing smaller pulleys because they both want to Beat my Ass, but I wonder.. I do have my stock ECU with stock manifolds.. I think the BD performance tune w/ Turbo on WOT might be my "newest Secret Weapon"....:rolleyes:

I will go on record as stating I will help finance said room.
I'll throw in a Gas Card!:D

I'm kind of hoping the tuner won't work on premium tune with the smaller pulley and the premium tune pulls more than the pulley on a 1:1 but that is purely for "selfish I haven't done the pulley yet" reasons lol
