I retired 11 months ago. Before, I drove my Xbox to work. Now it sets more than runs. My problem is that if it sets more than 5 days, the battery is dead or near dead. At ten days it is completely dead. I have a life time toyota battery, and has been to the dealer twice, with no results. They can find nothing.. Was wondering if any of you motor heads have an idea that could help me find the culprit. I don't always remember to fire it up, but something is draining the juice out of it.

Get a meter with DC amp capability. Put it in line between positive post and battery cable (disconnected from post).

Take a reading, pull a fuse, check reading. Keep pulling fuses until you get to a zero reading. Investigate those circuits with the largest drops.

Using a small 12 amperage volt bulb with leads attached between cable end and battery terminal is cheap way to find short. As long as the short or or draw exists the bulb will burn. Small amperage draw bulb is the secret. It is not a way to determine amount of draw however.
