Ok – I hope you all can help me with this question? (I will try to keep it short and to the point)

Can I fit 305/55/20 tires on my 2013 Tundra Crewmax 4x2 Texas Edition with 20” Chrome w/Black Accent Wheels (20x9 with 50mm offset) after installing a LRO 3/1 leveling kit.

My concerns is that these stock Texas Edition 20” wheels (Ultra Grinder 20x9) have a 50mm offset and will this offset work with my setup?

Question:

• Will 305/55/20 tires fit without any major issues on these stock Ultra Grinder 20x9 wheels with a 50mm offset?
• I know the 305/55/20 tires are 1.18” wider and 1.3” taller than the stock 275/55/20 tires
• I understand the 50mm offset wheels barely stick past the fender and with 305/55/20 tires will only stick out another 0.5” so will it have rubbing issues due to the 50mm offset?

If I cannot use these Texas Edition Ultra Grinder wheels, my next option is to get some Fuel wheels in 20x9 with a 30mm offset with 305/55/20 tires which I know will work as many have this setup on their Tundra now.

Thanks,
Mike

So I'm guessing everyone with the same wheels - 20” Texas Edition Wheels 20x9 with 50mm offset (Made by Ultra Grinders – Chrome with Black Accent) are either:

• Keeping the stock 275/55/20 tires or maybe going with 285/55/20 tires on these wheels
or
• Sold their wheels and went with 20x9 aftermarket wheels with either 18mm or 25mm or 30mm offset (Most common)

And no one is adding a leveling kit and putting 305/55/20 tires on a 20x9 wheel with a 50mm offset correct (Except me if it’s possible).

I just installed the very same size and they rubbed the UCA and scrubbed really bad. I ordered a set of wheels from Discount Tire with a +18 offset and everything was fine after that. I also have the LRO 3/1 kit. I only paid $750 for the new wheels and was able to sell my factory wheels for $500, so I didn't do too bad.

Every tire will fit differently too. When I was looking some guys were running this size on stock Ltd 20X8's on BFG KO's. There's no way you'd be able to run them with Duratracs due to the large side lugs.

Best thing to do is test fit if you have the option if you want to stick with the wheels.

Were you running 305/55/20 on 20x9 w/50mm offset and with a LRO 3/1 Leveling Kit also?

I'm now thinking about getting 20x9 Fuel Hostage wheels with a 25mm offset and Nitto Trail Grappler MT in 305/55/20 once I get the LRO 3/1 Leveling Kit installed.

I had LTD 20x8 +60 wheels. I wanted the 305's but didn't know if the duratracs would clear with the side lugs so i got 285 60 20.....only to get +12 jesters.

if you want those wheels then just get them cause you know it's just a matter of time so save yourself the headache. You can always sell your stockers to recoup costs.

Yes, I was. I installed the Nitto Terra Grapplers. After the install I had to buy new wheels. I bought American Outlaws with a +18 offset and all was good after that.
