For the ones with the tow mirrors, do you like them?

I have heard they are absolutley huge. Great for towing but for everyday use are they too big? I have not seen them up close and personal on a Tundra and am wondering how much they adjust or expand? How many inches do they expand or contract?

I tow a boat but only occasionaly. I wanted the tow mirrors just because they light up and have the turn signals in them. I just dont want to be taking out all the mailboxes in the neighborhood.

I can take some measurements, but they don't necessarily get in the way when every day driving. Personally, I like them more because they help out a TON when it comes to smaller cars in your blind spots...with the tow mirrors on, there are NO blind spots!

I do not like them. They are HUGE. I will only tow rarely. If I were towing everyday they would be OK I guess.

approx. 18 in./normal and approx. 23in./extended, hope that helps ya

Sorry, I was tired when I got those measurements! Extended they're about 23 not 33 in. Hope I didn't cause a panic!

Thanks for clearing that up. I thought I would have to hire a flagger car to signify a wide load when I took the truck out for a drive. That would have been almost 3 feet extra per side.

I've got the SR5 with regular mirrors...and they don't have the signal in em...at least I don't see it. Is that a limited option?

yes on the limited you get the turn signals and the power retract. you do not get either with the sr5 mirrors.

i have the tow mirrows, they stick out three inches more, as for preference, i prefer the big ones, you can see everything.
