Has anyone bought a used Tundra from dealer other then Toyota and gotten a Extended Warranty or Powertrain warranty.

When I had my 03 Ram, I bought an Extended Warranty thru Guardian and it easily paid for itself with some of the issues I had on the Ram.

Also have one from when I got my 08 Patriot and it just paid for itself, since I found out last week, I needed and new tranny replaced cause of internal issues and was covered under the extended warranty.

Was just curious to see what some of the owner on here thought.

If you get a used tundra still covered under the factory 3/36k warranty, you can get a really nice extended warranty from Toyota dealerships who sell them online at just over cost.

If you are outside of the factory warranty, you have to buy 3rd party

just bought a certified used 2010 tundra has 48k. Added bumper to bumper warranty for $700 to 100K. I do like 10K miles a year, so very good warranty for me. If one thing breaks warranty will pay for it self.
