(I did debadge everything but the ARE sticker on the key/handle. When i took it off, i saw a screw there holding it to the glass. I was afraid of leaving that exposed. When i get a chance, i will cut out a black piece to fit in there.)

SP: Member #3.
(I love that second picture you posted)

-I can't believe there is no debadged club yet! Get on that.
-I agree, i need some updated pics...
-I had no idea there is a character limit for sigs.. learn something new every day.
-As far as the wiring, they wired mine the same wahy (i think). The dome light can only be turned on when the lights are on. So if the truck is off, i need to go turn on my headlights and then i am able to turn on my dome light... He said that is the only way he will wire it (for a reason he told me then, but i forget now.. probably something about forgetting it's on.. draining power...)

excellent choice. I do believe that is the most popular choice for a cap. It definitely looks the best!

I didn't think the ARE-Z series came with the option for sliding windows? I think my only option was the 1/3 pop-out style.

lol. I understand. It was kind of a joke at first, but then i decided to keep it... just for shits and giggles.

there is certainly some redesigning that ARE could do to the Z series. The handle is "interesting". It looks great. Looks like part of the truck, it doesnt stick out like the ugly T handles. But it can sometimes be a bit tricky to open.

I also have the issue with some occasional water leakage around the where the glass and tailgate meet. I live with it. It doesnt happen all the time..

It looks damn good though. Like its part of the truck. Fluid

Bad Dad, you're T.W.A.T. #4 (listed on OP.)
There is no way Mongo will ever allow T.W.A.T and his BAMF on the same line. I'm pretty sure he hates me, lol.

Welcome! I almost bought the side windows that lift up too, (for work purposes) but decided against it because of the aesthetics. I kind of regret that now.

I decided not to ever remove my cap unless absolutely necessary. I live in New England, so in the winter i obviously need it on 100% of the time. In the summer i have very expensive equipment in the back 24/7, so i use it then for security. I also had the cap place i bought it from make it more weather tight near the front so i think it would be VERY hard to get off and back on properly.

most brands has a disclaimer under it saying that it may not make the cap water proof.
All brands have that disclaimer. There is no way to seal between the cap and bed perfectly because the bed and cab are two separate pieces that move independently. (i'm sure you knew that.) If you really want a boot, you just need to deal with the fact that it may not be super tight,

I saw a truck (Ford) on the side of the road (imagine that :)) that had it's topper flipped open towards the passenger side so the goods could be accessed via the driver side of the bed. I think it may have had a spare engine for the power boat they were hauling, but I can't swear to it since I was hauling freight.

Have y'all seen something like that?
I'm confused. It was open to the passenger side, so it could be accessed from the driver side? Are we talking about a cap or a tonneau? Can you draw a diagram? Lol

Ok, here is my executive decision:

This club will allow hard shell tonneau covers.

The reason i am doing this is because the tonneau cover owners believe that they belong in the club which must mean they consider it a "topper". Therefore, i consider it a topper!
