My insurance company (Liberty Mutual) will buy me a NEW vehicle if I total one that is less than a year old. Some buyback clause in their policy. If it's totaled because of the fire, check if they'll buy it back. Get your money.

The insurance company will sue the dealer or Toyota if the need to, and you don't need to be involved.

Also, if it's a 2011, you have Toyota's roadside assistance thingy, which is supposed to provide you a loaner if there is under 25k mile on it I think.

A friend bought a Ford F350 and the new system they use in the exhaust blocks up if not driven "correctly" he uses it for plowing and they told him to drive an extra 250 miles after towing for the system to work properly. The engine ended up locking up due to the exhaust blockage. He took them to the BBB and now has a brand new '11 F350 swapped out, no money out of pocket and a 2 year newer truck. I would give that a shot.
