My 2015 5.7 will downshift randomly at speed. I will be driving and it shifts down. I thought it was only from overdrive but it does it at slower speed as well. It only happens once it’s warmed up. About 15-20 miles. I’ve already changed out the ECM and both speed sensors on the transmission. Codes p0500 and p0722. Come up.

Have you checked for damaged/chewed wiring?

How does it feel when you let of the gas, does it seem to slow down faster than normal? What do the codes say? Just did a quick search and a couple of the items it listed were over heating "radiator", change fluid and filters and shift solenoid(s). Ichanged out the solenoid pack on a dodge ram pickup I had it really wasn't that hard. I U-Tubed it a few times to get familiar. Not sure if you would have to get the ecm or something reset.
