I have a 2007 Toyota Tundra 5.7l v8 limited with tow package about a month ago I had it sitting for about 2 weeks because I was putting on a new exhaust system after that it drove fine the first day the next day I noticed when I put it in reverse or drive it would not shift until I give it gas and when it does shift it gives a big kick and after that when I start moving the rpms are going up but the transmission is not doing much I probably can get up to 10mph after it warms up it is fine but today when I started it it was doing what It always does but after going a couple places I went to a gas station and I started the truck and it would not go in reverse or neutral reverse was drive neutral was drive and drive was drive park seem like it is in drive but after I hear a click from the transmission it is in park

sounds like you might have disrupted a connector when doing your exhaust. recheck all your work and harness connections.
