Just had new tires put on, toyo open country at2 275/70/18. The tire says max psi is 80, however the tire shop returned it to me at 35psi. What should I inflate them to for everyday driving and light towing?
Toyo's website shows they make an LT285/65R18...The toyo at2's do look bada$$. I just really wish they offered it in a 285/65r18 or 295/70r18.
My mistake. I did know that they made a 285/65, just wish they offered it in a 295/70r18.Toyo's website shows they make an LT285/65R18...
Update, just went up to 50psi and that seems to work a lot better for handling and mpg! And the ride didn't change much at all. When I first got the tires I tried 45psi and the truck was very rough so I went with 40psi and that seemed to help. So I am assuming the sidewalls have softened up a bit and 50psi works great now. Hope this helps.I have the 305 55 20 and I run 40psi all around. Max on mine is 65psi.
More than 40 and the ride gets pretty harsh. Might air up a bit when towing.
