I am consudering working with a local person who is known to do high quality pinstriping. My truck is white & I was thinking placing some pinstripes on the vehicle will enhance the truck. I'm not into pinstripes that are bold or draw your attention to them; more interested in something that is a bit more reserved.
Anyone pinstripe their truck or have an opinion on it please chime in.
I am not a mechanic or auto body guy at all but have done pinstripping and it is easy and also easy to remove if you don't like it. I bought some on eBay for my old mustang for under 20$ installed myself and it looked great and lasted fine
My truck has a pinstripe. The dealer did it before I found the truck. It isn't something I would have got had I ordered the truck but it sure is growing on me.
nah...if you leave it on any amount of time, you will get wax build up and stuff, and your paint will be a different color underneath after you take it off.
Some of the distributors put it on the tundras in their area. So you can see pictures with it. I think pinstriping can add a nice look to many vehicles. Tundra is not one.
Wide stripes done well is the only option for color IMO
Pin stripes looked great on the large, square bodies of classic cars but personally I feel that the many curves of the Tundras body don't exactly make it the ideal canvas for the art that is pin striping.
