So I had the cab mounts replaced under the TSB today and am very pleased with the ride now. I thought I needed new shocks because of how much chop I would get going over bumps. Like there was a vibration in the cab that would last for a couple seconds after going over rough roads. Turns out the shocks are fine. All the slop went away with the new mounts.

I had to pay for the labor, but I'm glad I had this done.:D

There was (is) a TSB and there has been warranty claims, but you have to "convince" the service writer / tech that there is a problem first.

if TSB, shouldn't it be free?

I hear the 2012 tundra's on up have the new cushier cab mounts over prior years, is that true?
This TSB is only covered under Toyota's 36 month/36,000 mile Comprehensive Warranty. It was explained to me that my Platinum Warranty only covers electrical and mechanical stuff. Body mounts are neither and I was over the mileage for the CW.

The mounts aren't cushier, they're actually stiffer. There's not as much cab jiggle when going over rough terrain/roads.
