Terrible shocks!

909 Views 8 Replies 8 Participants Last post by  chphilo
I have a 2012 CM limited. We all know these things are not bottom basement trucks, but my stock shocks are TERRIBLE! The compression is ok but The rebound dampening is so bad that after hitting a good sized bump the truck bounces up then bobs 1.5 to 2 times before settling and launches you against the seatbelt. Honestly the worst stock ride of any truck I have owned.

Anyone else have the same thoughts or do I have a abnormality?

No issues in the DC and Bilsteins... Though the limited should have them. Tire pressure???

I thought that the shocks that come with the limited Tundra's are much more comfortable than the ones that come with the TRD package. Does it have anything to do with 20 inch wheels and the condition of the streets around your neighborhood (e.g., pot holes)?
