What size are the taillight screws on the 2017 tundra. I accidentally stripped one and had to use some lock pliers to remove it.

I believe that is the bit to put in the drill, I'm looking for the actual screw/bolt itself.

Most likely the thread is an M8 or M10 metric thread. Start there and you should be able to find it. I don't remember the pitch off the top of my head, but either 1.0 or 1.25 would probably be right, depending on which diameter it is.

More like an M6, remember, m6 is like 1/4", definitely not an M8 or M10...

Might even be smaller than that. Have not taken mine out yet on the 2017. Might be an m5, or smaller even.


Some vehicles (Cough ford COUGH COUGH) use their own threads too..

Better off to just order the screw.
