Looking for some advice and understanding....
I'll be looking to upgrade my suspension at some point here, and figured let me get on the right path so if a deal comes up, I can jump on it. Right now I've got the TRD Offroad 4x4 DC, it's my main vehicle, so daily commuter. I drive on both highway and back winding roads, my off-roading is limited to logging trails and 2-tracks in the hunting woods (so by no means am I PUSHING hard... minus the occasional "lets' have some fun" moments). In my tacoma, I upgraded to the 5100's all around, noticed a huge difference, enjoyed the ride more. I needed new shocks at the time, and wasn't looking to do something more.
I don't have a lift/level- and won't be lifting or leveling anytime in the near future.
My questions- what set up would you recommend on a budget. I say budget as I know I could drop $1000+ easily, but I don't really NEED longer travel. Maybe it is worth saving up and going that route- but for my needs?
UCA's -I know I won't have any CV joint issues as I'm stock height- and again, not NEEDING longer travel- but performance/driving upgrade in swapping them out?
At the end of the day- I could see dropping that $1000+ as that's what things cost... but how best to spend it to give me a better performing ride for my needs?
Thanks for the insight!
