Hey everyone, new here, love the site. I just bought a 2013 tundra but didn't like the stock rims it came with, so I bought new ones with the intention on keeping the tires. The tires are 255/70/18 and the new rims are a 9" width, will they work? The rep from tirerack.com said it will work but its not recommended. What did he mean? Any suggestions on what to do?

I have 275 stockers on 9 inch wide wheels with no issues (10.8 inch wide tread on 9 inch wide wheel). Yours will be about 10 inch tread width on 9 inch wide wheel. They will work, but it's not the best option. But hey, you don't have to worry about getting new tires, right?

Welcome to the forum, by the way.
