What’s up guys.
Phill from Moran, WY here.
I’ve had a 2012 CM Rock Warrior for the last 5 years.
Been running 295/70r17s Mickey Thompson Baja ATZp3 on the Rock Warrior TRD wheels. Love them and they grip the snow, ice and mud we get out here very well.

I need new rubber and want to step up in size to 315/70r17s namely MT Baja Boss, MTZ or the ATZ. I like deep treads and aggressive patterns.
I’m running Bilstein 6112 at 2.5 inches in the front and 5160s in rear with onboard air/bags.
Aftermarket bumper so not worried about rubbing plastic
Aftermarket skid plate that won’t be an issue regarding rubbing
My main concern is rubbing on the stock UCA.
And the Body mount which I would prefer to leave intact.

I know you can run BFG KO2 in 315/70r17 and 35/12.5r17 with minor modifications.

Seems like the 315/70r17 Mickey Thompson BajaBoss and MT are built on the same carcass as they both come in at 12.6 inches wide...and 34.6 tall...

Which is less than the listed 12.7 width for the BFG KO2 in 315/70r17.

anyone have any experience running other brands of AT or MT tires in a 315/70 or 35/12.5 on the RW wheels? Coopers? Toyo?
thanks for reading
Cheers

This is what I would run. Below is taken from the Tire Rack. This is the BFG T/A KO2 made for the Ford Raptor. It is designed for a half ton truck so it will ride dramatically better as it has less load capacity by 660 lb. per tire and it has this load capacity at 45 PSI instead of 65 PSI. I just need a set of Rock Warrior Wheels.

Thanks 310z
I want to stay away from BF Goodrich we run them on our work trucks and they don’t last for piss(that’s on FORDs tho...)I see they are at 15/32 tread depth new and the coopers are at 18.5/32
I decided on the Cooper StMaxx in 315/70r17
Ordered should be here Friday
Worst case scenario if it rubs the UCA I’ll put some 1 inch spacers on or get new 17inch wheels with lower offset

if it doesn’t work and I buy new wheels I’ll sell you these :)
