Looking to take that garbage JBL headunit out of our 2014 CM and replace with an aftermarket. We do not listen to cds, so I was wondering if there was a HU preferred to just do Spotify and such. Thanks!

I just looked at and did a bunch of online research on the Pioneer MVH-1400NEX and was blown away by how great it is. It runs about $350 and does it all. Going to look at a few more options and then decide. If anyone has this HU and can weigh in (or a better suggestion), I'd really appreciate it!

I have a 2012 Tundra and have searched the CarToys site several times and found that they have only one unit that will fit my application. I am interested in getting CarPlay as well as a back up camera in particular. Other than that, I am simply interested in a quality product. Any suggestions for compatible products that fill this need would be greatly appreciated.

Shop Crutchfield instead of Cartoys..

There are several HUs that will give you Carplay (some wireless) as well as retaining your backup camera.
I would stick with Pioneer or Kenwood for HUs
You'll need an Idatalink maestro to retain camera and steering wheel controls.

I did just have the Pioneer MVH-1400NEX installed this past weekend and it is AWESOME!!!! All of my steering wheel controls still work, and having Apple Car Play is INSANE!!!! The head unit is super easy to use, the factory speakers somehow sound better with this head unit and it looks fantastic. Could not be more thrilled with it! Can't believe I waited this long to pull the trigger...

Went with the DMH-1500NEX and should be able to report after installing next week. Really looking forward to this install as this is such a weak point, even with the JBL "upgrade", of the Tundra

UPDATE: "Installed" the DMH-1500NEX and the Maestro Unit as well...unreal the improvement overall with the sound quality just with the headunit upgrade. I will say that I had a hard time with getting the backup camera working and ended up taking it to a shop and even they had an issue. I have the correct harnesses from Maestro so Im not sure what was going on but its all set.

If you are hesitant about swapping out something you paid for as an upgrade, DONT be. Get that thing out.

Best part was that on the way to the shop the old JBL headunit froze twice....
