We were deer hunting last fall and drove my 12" Bulletproof lifted Big Blue Toyota Tundra over what looked like a meadow. Well, it turned out to be a swamp and it sank down right to the frame, the 37" tire was completely submerged under water. 6 hours and 40 tree trunks later we built a bridge under it and managed to get it out!

Wow, cool thread, however this is why I never off road my tundra, I have gotten my atv stuck many times and always got out but recovering a 5000+ Tundra would be another matter.

It’s definitely a “to each his own” type of thing. My best friend drives a 7” Lifted supercharged Tundra on 35’s that I built for him, and we beat the piss out of both our trucks off-road all the time.
We often say “If you didn’t break something or got stuck really bad, it wasn’t a good day of wheeling” lol.

Nice Recovery! Some times you have to get creative in challenging situations. Half of the fun is when you have a successful recovery.
