I know I'm older than most of y'all but I thought a bumper was supposed to be strong enough to be bumped & survive!! I bent, by my bare hands, my rear bumper to partially straighten it out after jack knifing a little utility trailer up against it. The bumper and its associated rubber cover is just under $700.00!!
There are 6 bolts that hold the 'chrome bling' to the massive receiver hitch.

I am having a schedule 40 steel bumper custom made to replace said bent bumper.....will do the same for the 'front chrome bling' when I get enough money.

FYI: Ranch Hand and other bumpers are mostly for looks with metal so thin, it's hard to weld anything else onto them & they won't protect much better than the stock 'chrome bling' in MHO.
