Guys, I am thinking about buying a 2003 Tundra for my son. The guy I am buying from said it needs new brake fluid every 3 weeks. Says its leaking from the rear, out of this (see photo). What is this, and is it easy to replace? It has rear drums, not rotors.

Thanks for your help!!!

It's the proportioning valve. Shouldn't be too pricy, but if it's leaking I would check out the rest of the system. Too much of a chance of introducing water/dirt into the system if you open it up every few weeks to add fluid. Also sometimes people that just let things go like leaks might not be all that good about other maintenence items.
