I've been lurking around here for a while, that truck does look familiar. I've driven a couple SC'd Tundras over the years and they are pretty fun. The only thing I don't like is how intrusive the traction control is with the SC. It's tempting to do to my new tundra.![]()
Who used to own this? Anyone we know?
If you could actually get it for cheap, you could really make some money on it. If it was closer, I'd throw a bid in. Someday I'd love to swap in a 5.7 (especially a SC'd 5.7) in my 2014 4runner.Do it. Part it out. Or keep the parts for spares.
The Supercharger is 10x that price.
Use the motor for another project or sell it. If you have the space to store it for a while and disassemble it, it would be worth it in the long run.

Way to Bogart my thread. You just gotta piggy back on any thread that can make you some money.I can sell you a 5.7 driveline
It's definitely tempting. I think if/when I go that route, I'm going to need to find a complete land cruiser so all the off road stuff still works.I can sell you a 5.7 driveline
Man, a RCSB that's SC'd. I bet that thing scoots! I think I would have to find a way to have the nannies default to off and be able to turn them on when needed. If I turn the nannies off they don't bother me at all.
Wouldn't that be amazing? I would love to have that power in my 4R
ha, good luck with that, i was searching for a LC before i got my CM... even wrecked they hold really high value. It's definitely tempting. I think if/when I go that route, I'm going to need to find a complete land cruiser so all the off road stuff still works.
There is nothing like a romp in a boosted RCSB Tundra. When you go for your first romp up to 100.....that "want" will become a "need"![]()
