Getting motivated to start my build. Fast ?, this speaker mount that comes with the Polk 6.5's- will it work or do I need a separate after market mount?

Might work on the rear doors. Won't work on the front doors.

what do you d tdo t put 6.5' speakers in the doors? im about to order some Alpine R types and dont want to order them if they wont fit.

You need to bring the speakers out from the door so they don't hit the rolled down windows. You can buy brackets or make your own. I made my own brackets from MDF cut with a skill saw.

I make baffles to adapt to whatever size u need. U can see some on my build log. Pm if interested.
