My passenger side mirror is loose on my 2011 Tundra. The mirror can fold in, but it is loose so it folds in really easy or you can just lift it up now. Would this be covered under Toyota's bumper to bumper warranty? The mirror was not abused or anything, it all of the sudden just became loose. From visually inspecting the side mirror it looked like some washers popped out inside.

I don't know if I should take my truck in to the dealer or just buy a new side mirror and replace it myself. Any suggestions?

I would pop the inside sail panel off to see if the nuts just loosened before spending the time at a dealership. The triangular piece at the top of the door pulls straight out. If you aren't over 36k, it should be covered.

They will..no worries. Unless your dealer is dink - they usually are pretty good at little stuff like that. Basically, that's why we got the bumper to bumper. - don't be afraid to use it.
