I just did a brake job on my 2016 Tundra and did a full flush with Dot 5.1 fluid ( I know overkill) with tech stream. Loved the brake set I got from EBC. Felt great. Their bedding process suggested I drive at least 300 miles before the final phase to heat them up to leave a film.

after driving 600 miles, I did the last phase as instructed. While bedding the pads I know they got hot and started getting fade as soon towards the end of the bedding process. The dash flashed that the traction control was disabled. Finished the bedding process and drove around until the rotors cooled.

Now my brakes feel spongy...Did I some how manage to boil fresh dot 5.1 brake fluid and get air in the line?

Luckily that fluid is compatible. I seriously do not think you boiled that brake fluid .

Never the less more brake bleeding is in store for you
