2002 Tundra. Lost the electronic nannies (I.E. traction control, stability control, and RSC) nope you didn't lose anything other than a little bit of size...the 1st Gen tundras are pretty close to the size the Tacoma is now LOL.
My grandfather has a 2005 Tundra SR5, I've actually found I like it better than my 08. At least with the 05 tundra it gets out of its own way in slick conditions where unless you fumbled around with the traction control crap on the 2nd gen+ tundras to turn it off most times it would cut power and you would just sit there LOL, even in 4WD the traction control system was very intrusive.
Hmmm glad you like it. I haven’t noticed the traction control issues people talk about on my gen 2 or 3. I did have a 09 Tacoma at one point which is darn close to what you have now. Only got rid of it because it was rear ended. Good truck.
