Offset rear axle.

I own a 3rd gen 2016 Tundra. I have 5500 kms on it and noticed that my right rear wheel sticks out about an inch further than the left. I went to the dealership and looked at 6 other tundras, all appear to have the same problem. Has anyone else noticed this on their Tundra? If so please call Toyota to get them started on it. I have already called Toyota Canada and they have no record of any other complaints.

Careful, you will get flamed here big time for not taking the time to search before asking a question. Many threads on this topic.
Toyota designed it that way. It is supposedly offset to make the driveshaft line up properly.
As mentioned above, there are probably a hundred threads about this.
