More like two BIG steps BACKWARDS (one each for engine and transmission).

This press conference is killing me! These guys really don't have a clue. Asked about power train changes and they did not feel a need to change anything. How about direct injection in all motors, 8 speed transmission, bigger fuel tank!
Exactly! Electric power steering, larger fuel tank, direct injection, and an 8 speed would have been no brainers. Morons. I'm bitter to say the least. But hey!, Toyota makes a killer Prius or Corrola. :banghead:

Same here on being bitter! I think what happened is the designers and engineers stumbled upon wacked's avatar and lost their train of thought lol.

From what I have read so far nope. Same 26 gallon fuel tank.

Lighten up a little....so it looks a little like a cross between the "big 3." I'm always seeing people say how good the Ford interior is, and the Ram is a great looking truck.

I like most of it except maybe the rear bumper. Would I like to see huge changes in power train? Sure, why not? But the 5.7 / 6 speed seems to be doing just fine. Sure, Dodge has an 8 speed, but we all know how reliable Dodge is.

Someone mentioned it doesn't have electronic steering. I have not read any good reviews of that, only not-so-good.

That steering wheel looks absolutely identical. Like you could swap them. I don't know how to feel. I like them don't think they look bad. But I like my 2013 just fine.

It appears that NOTHING underneath the sheet metal got changed.

Cannot get over this. Toyota should be embarrassed.
Some design exec at Ford is laughing his butt off as he is dialing Ford's lawyers.

Not saying that the F150 and Ram are bad looking trucks. Mainly that I wish Toyota would have made it there own and would stand out from the crowd not blend.
