Maestro oleg64, all of your keys worked perfectly for me, Thank You so very much for your help!!! I thought I had a keygen from another poster that would avoid headaches, but I could not get it to work (headaches). If you could share your file with us for the future that would be great, if not I understand. I still need keys for post #2558 when you have a chance...

Happy New Year!

oleg64 Thanks again! Just so I'm clear, do you have any insights into why I was unable to generate working keys for myself? Do you have an understanding of any limitations of the TechStremHelper keygen I was trying to use? I ask because I spent several hours without sucess. I understand and appreciate the time yourself and others like tdi200 spend responding to requests for keys. I'm still not sure if I had a good install of TSHelper because other users say it worked. I'm up and running (and 2 of my friends) Thanks to your help, however I always strive to be self sufficient. Just curious...

Because you tried to apply the activator from 14.30.023 to version 14.10.018. And you failed.

@SVSR54X4 nice catch on the errors i was under impression that the uploaded file was v14 30 023 like @oleg64 said the activator is only for v14 30 023 and not the older version 14.10.xxx- but chances are 14.20.xxx might work

i have been on vacation and last night i was on the road with very limited resource to help you out. i fixed all the uploads and v14 30 023 setup file is included with 2 keygen i tried the setup on diffrent computer and was able to input the keys generated let me know if you have more issues on this version 14 30 023

here is the setup file with keygen and ofcourse your antivirus might trigger false positive so just turn it off

PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR KEYS AS TECHSTREAM V14 COVERS CARS UPTO 2019 AND MOST OF US GOT CARS OLDER THAN THAT!

(LETS BE HONEST MOST OF US GOT CARS OLDERS THAN YEAR 2016 AND V11 AND ITS KEYGEN IS INCLUDED TOO THERE IS NO POINT OF HAVING NEWER VERSIONS IF YOU HAVE OLDERS CARS)

THIS INFO BELLOW IS ALL YOU NEED TO RUN YOUR TECHSTREAM FOR FREE!

@SVSR54X4 this is the info you need; setup files of v14 30 023 with keygen and you will be able to run everything by yourself!

v14.30.023 techstream setup file with keygen: (good for vehicles upto 2019): Techstream v14.30.023 WITH KEYGEN.zip

KEYGENS!
TUNDRA TALK DEDICATED KEYGEN IS ONLY DESIGNED FOR V14.30 that was created by our member @captaintofuburger

Keygen for v14.30.023 = TechStreamHelper-Binary.zip

v14.30.023 Browser based keygen = version 14.30.xx keygen.zip & HTML, CSS and JavaScript demo - Liveweave

our other member @oleg64 provided keygen that works for v14.10.028 & v14.20.019 but not sure how safe this script is unless oleg64 can give us more info on that here is the keygen mega file: 161.2 KB file on MEGA

64BIT MVCI CABLE DRIVERS with Free software (7Zip) to run RAR file: 7zip&drivers.zip if link gets take down use this: 8.02 MB file on MEGA

and for those getting java run time error message when opening the program here is the file you need to install for the error to go away: Java_v7.0.5.exe

techstream v11 with keygen that can generate keys upto v12.00.125 and all the drivers need to run the program; link consists of EVERYTHING you will need to run the Software (64 and 32 bit drivers for the cable will work on any version of techstream): Techstream+vmware+winxp.zip

and also for blocking techstream program so it DOES not connect to internet for auto update and mess things up
go to start-controlpanel-windows firewall-advance settings-click on new inbound rule locate file C:\Program Files (x86)\Toyota Diagnostics\Techstream\bin and look for the file "MainMenu.exe" and follow instruction and make sure to click BLOCK connection and repeat the same for outbound rule

Cable that i bought: mini vci V2.0.4

can be found in usa but out of stock: MINI-VCI J2534 OBD2 USB Communication Interface for Toyota Firmware V2.0.4 (Cable Only)

Okay, I got it now ; ) I know you said it before, I was just confused by conflicting info here. Actually it was 14.10.028 I was trying to activate (now done Thanks to your help!). When it finally stops raining here in SoCal I am going to plug into my truck to check functionality of 14.10.028. If everything I need (customize, live data) is working, I will hold off on 14.30.023.

Make sure you techstream is set as corporate user as same members had issues on here not getting customize info and live data. also being upfront with you there are high chances live data will not work it depends on which cable u are using i am including screenshots just incase and also when u connect the cable to your vehicle make sure your interface setup is set up to the correct cable driver by going to setup and than VIM select pictures below might help

Yeah, I bought this cable back in 2012 to use on my 2008 Tundra haha! Got it from obdii365.com (China) it came with TS ver. 7 and as I recall firmware ver. 1.x.x. I was able to customize settings and read and clear DTCs, not sure about live data then. At some point I updated TS to 10.30.029 and cable firmware to 2.0.4 (didn't know that is not recommended as you could brick the cable), but it did update firmware as reported by MVCI FUT. With that version I seemed to have full functionality on the 2008 except when I ran the DLC3 Cable Check I didn't have K and L lines or Can Bus check. I tried different 12.xx.xxx versions but I had various issues with installs or operation (No Health Check etc.) so I stuck with 10.30.029. Obviously, I needed to update TS to use on my 2018 Tundra, so that is where I am now.

Hopefully I will be good to go! I will post again when I get a chance to test it out...

Forgot to ask, does anyone have any insight into the LED colors on the cable? I thought someone had posted somewhere about the color changing from red to green, I think
I have only seen red when connected in the past... Just curious...

Same here tdi200. I was just remembering using 10.30.029, setup readme was advising to use Europe as area. Not sure on the reason, activation or functionality. I can't remember if I tried NA, but I didn't know about Corporate User at that time. TS would auto-detect 3URFE (5.7L Engine), then I had to select Tundra or Sequoia and maybe a couple other items from a drop-down list. Hoping this setup will work great and possibly auto-detect.my truck.

Also, I am 95% sure I updated my cable firmware using MVCI FUT "Online Update". Does anyone have any insight into the functional differences between the two versions? I believe 2.0.4 supports additional communication protocols? I ask because when I ran the DLC3 Cable Check I didn't have K and L lines or Can Bus check.working but I appeared to be on the newer firmware. Can anyone with a newer cable running 2.0.4 Please got to TS, Help, DLC3 Cable Check and report if they have K and L lines or Can Bus check? Should be all green in the test, or if not what does TS report (red)?

TIA, Sean

i am pretty sure it will auto detect your truck as the all techstream setup file have not been altered like how other people used to patch the file while on here we just use the keys to register it

you are the first one who update the firmware of your cable to 2.0.4 the cable i had bought came with v2 it was said the v1 is a slow one and it was expensive. if i had known even that cheaper cable can be upgraded to v2 i would i have bought the cheaper one as line K and L is red check screenshot and my cable came with v2 i had not updated it

Thanks for the feedback! Near certain I updated the firmware when I updated to 10.30.029, I think ver. 1.x.x. was the latest available when I bought the cable in 2012 ($32.89). Word of caution to others, you probably know, anytime you are updating FW (such as BIOS on your PC) if something goes wrong there is a real chance of bricking the device. I have read reports online of bad results (maybe here) when attempting to update the FW, something about the cable serial # being wiped. Pretty sure if someone else wanted to try and update their firmware and were careful they could. I am curious to see the results of the DLC3 Cable Check from others running 1.x.x.. Finally stopped raining here, gonna connect tomorrow and see what I get!

Happy New Years All,

Sean
