I have a first gen and looking to build o2 sims for the post cat sensors so i can get rid of the cats.

Does anyone have a basic schematic on how to build them ?

One dude used a simple RC low pass filter, but I believe his was a 5.7L. Others use extra long bungs to mount the sensor just a bit away from the inner wall of the exhaust tube.
Ive seen the pulling it out of the stream part but wasnt sure if it worked.

On the 4.7 do the post cat sensors effect anything or do they simply only flip a CEL ?

I read they are only used to monitor the effectiveness of the front cats, i.e. they only set a CEL when the are removed but they do not affect air fuel ratio beyond this. That said, we had Gadget chime in on this exact topic and say the rear sensors do much more....they are used in some sort of calibration of the front sensors. :dunno:
