I appreciate the quick responses. This saves me from going back to the dealership svc dept. Now I can go to my local bow shop for some arrows..

BTW: why does running AIP a little beyond engine shutdown help?

My truck has the new pump from factory. I thought the noise was a fuel pump. But now I know it's an air pump. I think the pump is purging moisture after shutdown. Corrosion might have been the enemy of the older pumps that did not purge.

Just got back from the reprogram. Mine does it as well. Heard it in the garage. Love this forum. Jump on the computer, search noise after engine shutdown and I have my answer....

Any MPG gain after ECM update for you guys? Just dropped mines off, I notice there was lack of power from time to time before ECM update and hopefully this update will help my shifting point and MPG
