Hey guys,

Just received a new wiper arm for my 2011 dbl cab. The splines on my original were stripped out, so figured a new one was necessary. Problem is the new one doesn't have any splines where it attaches to the shaft. So is this a separate piece that's pressed in or something?

Thanks for the help.

That's normal. The shaft has splines and because it is a harder material, the shaft will press splines into the new wiper arm when you tighten it down. Make sure you mark the position of the old arm on the windshield before removing it so that you can properly align the new one before tightening down the nut.

so i installed the new arm, but it's barely moving. i've tightened the nut pretty good. should i try to tighten more or is something wrong with the linkage assembly? without the arm installed the shaft spins correctly.
