Wait, wait, wait, wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keith..... are you gonna start making CAI's for our trucks?
haha, yessir, I keep pushing back the prototyping tho. Race only, not for use on any vehicle which is driven on a public roadway.Wait, wait, wait, wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keith..... are you gonna start making CAI's for our trucks?
Here's the first step to ridding these trucks of their hidden bottleneck;

so I tested the off road pipes on the dyno over the weekend. it drove me crazy how loud it was. it sounded like a machine gun whenever you step on the throttle LOL. And it blew out a lot of low end. However, top end screamed and it added 7hp on the with 15lbs tq to boot:lol5:
So the catless mid pipes are done and ready for production but I don't reckon I'll be selling a lot of em with the relatively small gains and low end tq loss. They would be perfect for guys with blown out cats, and of course guys with superchargers that want all out performance and wanna keep their warranty so they can't remove the stock manifolds. These are of course only for off road use on vehicles which will never be driven on public roadways.
Looks good!that's what she said:lol5: and I assured her that she was LOL
ya, the pipe has hidden pipe inside it

And I actually thought you were full of shit when you told me about the hidden pipe, but I guess you were right not sure why they would do such a thing. Oh and nice truck Keith!
And here's what I've built to fix that:

the pipes going on my truck will be simpler. I literally built a jig on the stock mid pipes in the pic, then built the new pipes in the jig. I'll simplify it by building the new pipes for my truck, on my truck, then the jig will be built around those which will be a much simpler design to build, same effectiveness.
