Hi all - just picked up a red 2013 Tundra DC. Had a 2001 F-150 Super Cab before but love the new Tundra. Need to add some step bars and was hoping for recommendations. Thanks

Welcome..personally I like the brushed stainless OEM step bar. Toyota's paint quality is rather poor and rocks easily chip the paint. The OEM step bar is about 6" wide and provides the best protection that I have found for rocks thrown from the tires. I have not had one rock make it past these bars and they provide a firm foundation for stepping in and out.

The step bars are about $450 (PT212-3407C Double Cab and PT212-3407D Crewcab). The bars are direct bolt on and take about 30 minutes with a beer. Most dealers charge about $200 to install which is not worth it.
