ok, new shoes are on, Ill get some pics shortly, great looking tire.
Initial thoughts...
These are a new model from cooper this year I think.
I can't believe how smooth and quiet these are for how aggressive they look. I would say they look every bit as aggressive in person as my BFG KO2 did, which are at the most aggressive AT end before you get into the next level which is a hybrid MT/AT like the durtracs or ST Maxx.
I was not too thrilled with the BFGs after 35K miles, they were really loud, traction was degrading and I was starting to feel the tread vibration at lower speeds, kinda odd. Wearing out fast and no warranty at all made me look in another direction this time, plus I simply did not like how loud they were. Im used to AT and hybrid AT/MTs tires, have had trucks all my life so Im used to tire noise so I guess Im disappointed in the BFGs this time around.
anyway, at 41K off the BFGs came and on go the AT3 XLT.
These are shocking quiet and smooth as far as initial observations.
