Hello so I just got a 2003 tundra and had ti install an new rack and pinion and new power steering pump but I’ve bleed the system for over an hour and it is still hard to turn. Any suggestions would be appreciated

The u joint inside the cab of the truck is probably binding
spray with pb blaster real good then with a lubricant
had that wrong with my truck also a 2003

That's what happened with mine. I thought I needed a rack till I looked more at it and realized the joint was all rusted up

So update sorry it’s been a minute but what ended up doing was replaced the rack and putter tie rod ends as well and new pump but what I didn’t do and just took it for granted was I did Not count my revolutions
On the steering joint to the steering shaft and it was throwing everything off. I disconnected it and counted both turn radiuses and put it back in the center and was able to bleed almost immediately and my alignment was barely off.
