Hey guys just traded my f250 for this 08 tundra 72k not new but paid for. I have had several older lexus ls models in the past with 200k or more on all of them when I got rid of them. My wife has a ls430 with around 170k so I really trust the toyota brand. My last 2 trucks were fords and I am ready for a change. I only wish it was 4x4 but I like the truck so far. I really never go off road and we never get snow in TN. Any suggestions or things to check as this is my first tundra.

Welcome to the forum. Congrats on your beautiful silver Tundra. By the way, we had a poll about 4x2 vs 4x4.

It seems slightly more than 1/3 of the members of this forum have 4x2. If you don't get snow and if you go off-road, you should be okay with 4x2. Bad driving with 4x4 will get you stuck. Good and prudent driving with 4x2 won't.

Thanks and I will check out the link posted. I think the 4x2 will be ok. I am just used to having 4x4 if needed. It has came in handy a time or 2 if I had to park in the yard or something but I never just go mudding LOL. That was probably 20 years ago. I am 35 now and I used to have a cj-7 when I was a kid.
